What was the highlight of Novotel Paris Vaugirard Montparnasse
A decent hotel at an overpriced rate.
The undeniable advantages of the hotel include its location, the cleanliness of the room, the underground parking and friendly staff.
1. The air conditioning system in the room was purely nominal: I tried adjusting various fan speeds and temperature settings, but there was no noticeable difference. The room remained stuffy and hot (we were lucky that the weather outside wasn’t as hot as it usually is in May). 2. It was stated that the room includes a "tea/coffee maker", but upon arrival we found only a kettle, some tea bags, and instant coffee. That’s just a kettle — a question to those writing the room description: why call it a coffee maker? 3. It was stated that the room includes a minibar, but in reality it was just an empty fridge. In my opinion, if you claim to be a 4-star hotel, leaving an empty fridge and calling it a minibar is simply bad form. Overall, in our opinion this hotel does not give the impression of a 4-star establishment located in the capital of a European country.

The rooms are tight and toilets are separate to the bath so toilets have no sink etc which was inconvenient.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was amazing. The staff were friendly.

In general it’s fine. Might be cleaner
Very nice staff
We requested room cleaning 3 times during our stay. 1st time it went well, 2 next times request was ignored. We left respective card on the door and were absent the whole day from 10am to 9pm. On first failed request when we came back to hotel, the card on door was flipped from “clean my room” to “do not disturb” (I double checked, I left it in a right way). In the same time, a new door opening card was left in our room, meaning someone entered our room, left this card and light ON, flipped the card on door and left. We did not get wtf has happened.
